Battlemech- Superheavy
Since the late 28th century, designers had attempted to construct BattleMechs in excess of 100 tons. In the early 3120s, tripodal superheavy 'Mechs called "colossal" BattleMechs began appearing as an experimental technology. Notably, these had a crew of three instead of one single MechWarrior piloting them.
