TLDR: Its incredibly small but that's okay.

Okay so this is um... tiny. Not small, but tiny. So much so that I've been trying to figure out if its map scale, or maybe battle-force scale but based on its stats, I think the Tracked APC is just that small. Its about the size of my pinky fingernail. Very hard to paint, but adorable. Beside elementals it seems really large, but I don't think elementals were every really to scale with the mechs to begin with. Comparing this to other Battletech tanks is like comparing some of those small European cars to a raised up truck/limos. (There is one where I live, trust me on this.) So there is presence for the size difference I suppose. Now for context on WHY the tracked APC might be so small, I'll compare it to one of the few tanks I have, the Magi. It can hold 6X the people that the Tracked APC can, and the Tracked APC by alpha strike rules holds maybe about 7 people. So yeah, a tiny personnel carrier compared to the Magi witch can transport like 2 platoons. Basically this is a very tiny model, but I don't think its sized incorrectly. You will either hate that its small, or love that it is small. In Alpha strike it has like 2 points of health witch is adorable. I do think it's scale looks better while based, so you might want to put it on one, but I might leave it baseless just for the lulz. It was hard to find this on Master Unit List, but its listed as "Armored Personnel Carrier (Tracked)" not APC.
Pros: One of the cheapest iron wind metals out there and it costs only 6 points in alpha strike. Easy to assemble, only two parts.
Cons: Small, hard to paint if you're not the best at small details. If you want to buy a handful you're looking at like a $30.00 shipping charge for an order that's worth like $6. You might lose it. Its tiny.
