Near Mint- Often Brand new or similar quality, for all previous owned new items.

Excellent- slight wear

Great- slight wear, may have marks on edges/spine

Good- wear on spine/edges. May have markings inside (owners name, etc).

Fair- Heavy or significant wear damage to book. Possibly markings throughout.
