Fantastic book going into the lore and information on the Federated Suns and FedCom forces. As someone who loves Battletech lore I loved this book.
Outstanding book. Hardcover, all colour, great artwork and unit reviews are excellent. Painted miniatures in the back allow you to access more info. I, for one, think the Kestrels Grenadiers colour scheme looks brilliant.

Really great book as I play the Crucis Lancers a lot. Love the history and unit break outs. Has a mini paint scheme guide in the back as well as a painting tutorial. Would like to have seen it brought up to the ilClan era with the continued history and new formations, but nothing in here can't be used for the current lore timeline. very satisfied with this purchase!
I read this book cover to cover immediately after receiving it. Really fun faction book with very helpful information and fun stuff to add to your games. I'm fairly new to Battletech (which is weird, because I remember it from the 80's), so I can't speak to the usefulness for a hardcore veteran. Also, it's a bit thin for the money, but I'm totally fine with that and will be purchasing all the rest of the Force Manuals.
